Start from where you are

You don't need to arrive with everything worked out.

Some businesses already have an IT provider and Microsoft 365. Others are putting support in place for the first time or planning a move into Microsoft 365. We begin with your current position and explain the next practical step.

01

No support provider

We can begin the onboarding process directly, without a supplier handover.

02

Changing provider

We plan the dates, information and handover with your existing provider.

03

Moving to Microsoft 365

We agree what needs to move and manage the change into Microsoft 365.

04

Already using Microsoft 365

We review what's in place and build support around the environment you have.

From first conversation to day one

Each step is explained and managed for you.

We learn about your business, recommend the support that fits and organise the move into baseMSP, so you know what's happening and when your support will begin.

  1. 01First conversation

We discuss how your team works, what technology you use and what you expect from your IT support.

  2. 02Understand what's in place

We look at your current support, Microsoft 365, users and devices, together with any notice periods or important dates.

  3. 03Your roadmap proposal

We set out the support we recommend, what's included, what it costs and any improvements worth planning for later.

  4. 04Prepare your move

Once you decide to proceed, we review Microsoft 365 and organise the handover. If you're moving to Microsoft 365, we agree the migration plan.

  5. 05Support begins

We complete the onboarding, introduce your employees to baseMSP and make sure everyone knows how to get help from day one.

A straightforward handover

A couple of short forms for you. The rest is managed by us.

We only ask for the information that helps us support the right people, understand your business and coordinate the change safely.

No current provider? There's no handover to manage, so we move directly into onboarding.

What we need from you

  • Complete your business and employee details
  • Confirm the important contacts and dates
  • Introduce your current provider, if you have one
  • Approve access when it's needed

What baseMSP takes care of

  • Agree the transition plan and start date
  • Coordinate the handover and gather the information
  • Review Microsoft 365 and prepare the agreed services
  • Set up helpdesk access and guide your employees
  • Check everything is ready before support begins

Once you become a client

Reviews are built into the service, not left to chance.

Getting started is only the first part. We revisit your roadmap so your support, Microsoft 365 and wider technology continue to match the business.

  1. Day one

    Support begins

Your agreed services are active, your employees know how to get help and the roadmap becomes the record of what comes next.

  2. 3 months

    Your first review

We check the onboarding, discuss how support is working and review the first priorities or adjustments.

  3. Every 6 months

    Your ongoing review

Your invitation is generated automatically. We review progress, new requirements and the next sensible steps together.

Your roadmap stays useful.

Each review records what has been completed, what needs attention next and what can wait. You can also speak to us between reviews whenever something changes.

Before you get started

Questions about joining baseMSP.

Clear answers about switching, onboarding and what happens after your support begins.

Will switching IT providers create lots of work for us?

For most clients, your part is completing a couple of short forms, confirming dates and introducing us to your current provider. We then coordinate the handover, collect the information and prepare the agreed services.

What if we don't have an IT support provider?

That makes the process simpler. We don't need to arrange a supplier handover, so we can move directly from the agreed proposal into onboarding.

What if we don't use Microsoft 365 yet?

We can plan a move into Microsoft 365 as part of the work. The migration scope, timing and cost are agreed before anything begins.

Why do you review our Microsoft 365 environment?

The review confirms what's already set up, which licences are in use and where attention may be needed. This gives us a reliable starting point instead of relying only on existing information.

How will our employees know where to get help?

During onboarding, we provide clear helpdesk instructions and arrange access to the support portal. Employees can then contact baseMSP through the agreed support channels.

What happens after the three-month review?

Your next review is arranged on a six-month cycle. The invitation is generated automatically, so the roadmap and your changing requirements are regularly discussed.
